FEIN: féin was born from it’s namesake designer in the sweet summer of 2009. Forty years after the original three days of peace and music, & the first manned mission to land on the moon, American designer Fein has revived garments from this era and prior. Creating a collection of vintage treasures, hand crafted into couture creatures breathing air from a time long ago. Wedding & prom dresses thought to never see the light of day again, dismantled, resuscitated & draped across hours of hand stitched bust detail. Ballerina inspired silhouettes dance with one of kind vintage lace and silks filled with a history not even they can say. From frilly tutus of the 50’s and 60’s to bloomers & rompers our great grandmothers wore, every entity from each durable, sewn to last FEIN piece has made it through the ages, and will continue to bring fancy filled parties, cherub smiles, & all around femme fatale stories for those to come. Each piece of the FEIN collection is a living, breathing, collage of love and tears, broken hearts and bittersweet tales, romance and somber humor.
